Ms. Megan Somerville
Ms. Megan started her dance journey at the age of 3 with Joyce Freeman Studio of Dance. Her dancing background includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Belly Dance, Break, and Pointe. She was a member of the Eclectic Dance Company (formally known as UnXpected Dance Crew) for two years, performing at various venues in the Maryland area.
During her high school years, she served as Captain of the Dallastown Dance Team for 2 years, and after graduation, she was the Assistant Coach for 10 years. Ms. Megan graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on child development. She has and continues to attend dance workshops, seminars, and conventions including UDA, EDA, Dance Teacher Summit, and studios in New York City.
Believing that all children deserve a safe and healthy environment, Ms. Megan volunteers at the York County Children’s Advocacy Center, serving on the Fundraising committee. With over 5 years of dance teaching experience, Ms. Megan looks forward to sharing her passion and love for dance with her students!

Miss Hannah Schell
Miss Hannah started dancing at the age of 4. She danced competitively from ages 7 to 18. Her dance background includes Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, Belly Dance, Break Dance, and Musical Theatre. Miss Hannah started assistant teaching classes when she was 14 and now continues her dance career as a dance teacher. She has and continues to attend dance workshops, seminars, and conventions including UDA, EDA, Dance Teacher Summit, and studios in New York City.
She has taken master classes from Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, and Twitch. A proponent for safe and healthy development of her dance students, Miss Hannah has taken college courses in injury prevention and children/adolescent development. To further her dance education, she has taken dance classes during her college years. She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management at York College of Pennsylvania. Miss Hannah’s passion and enthusiasm for dance is contagious!

Ms. Lara Bare
Ms. Lara started dancing at the age of 7 at Bartonand Williams School of Dance in Virginia. Her dance background includes Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Lyrical, and Modern. Ms. Lara was on her high school dance team for 4 years and served as co-captain of the team for one of those years. She attended 4 years of NCA dance camp at UMBC, where Ms. Lara received the Shining Star award and was invited to dance in the Macy’s Day parade. Ms. Lara performed in participated in several showcases, including the Goucher College Dance Showcase and Maryland State Dance Showcase. She took specialty classes at Maryland, New York, and Atlantic City venues. Upon graduating from high school, Ms. Lara married and started her studies in Early Childhood Education and Behaviorism. Obtaining her degree
in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Lara taught and served as the Assistant Director of a day school in Laurel, Maryland. Upon starting her family, Ms. Lara took a hiatus from teaching to raise her 6 children. In 2014, Ms. Lara began with the Northeastern School District in Emotional Support. Although no longer with the Northeastern School District in full-time capacity, Ms. Lara continues with the school district as a substitute teacher. Ms. Lara’s knowledge in early childhood education and love for teaching and dance is evident!
